Kaapsehoop sits on the Mpumalanga escarpment — cool nights, summer storms, and soils that suit both orchard trees and hardy cattle. Nivagri (Pty) Ltd runs two complementary enterprises on that ground: a mixed-cultivar macadamia orchard and a brown Brangus herd finished on veld.

Trees are managed for kernel recovery and clean, farm-gate delivery. Cultivars are mixed so harvest windows stagger and quality holds through the season. We sell nut-in-shell and kernel by arrangement — volumes suited to processors and serious buyers, not roadside packets.

Beef
Brown Brangus that work this country
Brown Brangus carry heat and tick pressure without giving up carcass quality. The herd is run on veld around Kaapsehoop, with animals selected for temperament, fertility and finishing. We move stock through known channels — weaners, breeding females, and beef by enquiry.

Two crops, one place
Orchard and cattle share the same rainfall and the same roads. That is the point of the farm — not a showpiece, a working mix.
Buyers, not browsers
We would rather send a clean lot to one processor than dress a stall. Ask if you have volume, timing, or breeding questions.
Escarpment weather
Mist, thunder and cool nights shape both nut fill and grazing. We farm with that, not against it.
